We embraced that human behavior with this series of Valspar pre-roll commercials, in which we immediately acknowledge that you, the viewer, can skip this ad ... however, you better not skip this step while painting.
Our reverse-psychology ads performed exceptionally well, achieving a YouTube completion rate of 50%—a full 21 percentage points above the industry average of 29%.
